On January 1st 2014, the Desert Island Mixtape Project was launched. You are stranded on an island. You only have one song to listen to for the rest of your life. Each month a new band/artist is chosen. The band for the month of August was...Fleetwood Mac. Starting as an experimental blues band, The Mac became the epitome of smooth excess. Someone voted for "none" this month. I guess being stranded on an island only to be reminded of cocaine and heartbreak may be too much to handle.
